Sarah's House 3 Living Room

This addition to the farmhouse was quite the undertaking! Several things went awry and had to be addressed but in the end, everything turned out beautifully as always.  Love the mix of old and new in this room and the fabulous piece above the fireplace.

The mix of color used in the pillows was so interesting--from neutrals to a rose print to garnet to soft orange and burnt orange.  Very unique, but it worked.

Love the touch of orange on the walls and the grasscloth wall covering.

Sarah's done it again--beautiful kitchen!

Yellow in a house is so warm and cheerful, I have it in several rooms in my own home.  This kitchen is so charming--I love that she refinished the original floors and the fabric on the windows is gorgeous.  The only thing I don't totally love is the stone behind the stove.  But mixing the dots and florals and the yellow island are all wonderful.  Love the vintage light fixtures and the farmhouse sink too!
